“They very much value the expertise of organizations like ours,” she said.
OUTSaskatoon, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources on safe sex, also expressed concern about the effect this may have on overall public health. “I don’t think there’s any one reason why we’re the highest,” he said, adding it may be “a larger issue than whether or not parents have opted-out” of sex-ed.
