U of S Huskies scored five converted touchdowns, three field goals and two safeties in preseason win over Calgary Dinos
The University of Saskatchewan Huskies enjoyed their lone taste of pre-season football action Friday night, defeating the visiting University of Calgary Dinos 48-6 at Griffiths Stadium in Nutrien Park.It didn’t take last season’s backup quarterback, Anton Amundrud, long to make his presence known in his first chance as starter for the Huskies. His first pass was a 42-yard strike to Rhett Vavra during a drive that eventually led to a field goal.
