The incident was reported on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh, a state in northern India near the border with Nepal. The 36-year-old woman, who was not named in the reporting, toldthat she had been working on a farm and came home to find her 32-year-old, live-in boyfriend attacking her teenage daughter. "I was working in the farm when the incident took place," the mother was quoted as saying by the Times of India. "Fortunately I returned home in the nick of time and caught him red-handed."
"So I brought a knife from the kitchen and chopped off his private parts to teach him a lesson. I have no regrets for what I did," the mother told the Times of India.
