The State Bar of Texas is appealing a judge’s dismissal of its complaint against Donald Trump ally Sidney Powell that accused her of ethics violations in her claims challenging the 2020 presidential election results.
Michigan’s Attorney Grievance Commission filed a complaint this month with a disciplinary board after a judge ruled against Ms.
and other attorneys who challenged the state’s 2020 results. The judge ordered the pro-Trump attorneys to pay more than $170,000 to cover the costs of examining the claims, the Detroit Free Press reported.’s appeal of that ruling is pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. Meanwhile, Michigan’s bar is pursuing its ethics claims and will impanel volunteer attorneys to review the case for suspension or discipline against Ms.
