ShotgunWedding Trailer Teases an Action-Packed Wedding Event
trailer for Amazon Studios’ upcoming action romantic comedy has been revealed, featuring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel portraying a couple whose wedding gets crashed by pirates. The film will be available for streaming on January 27, 2023.
The video offers lots of new action-packed footage showing Lopez and Duhamel’s characters hilariously trying to save their family from the pirates. It also previews Jennifer Coolidge’s rendition of Edwin McCain’s classic song “I’ll Be.”) and Jennifer Lopez , who also recently starred in another wedding-theme movie with Owen Wilson in STXfilms’. Joining them are Lenny Kravitz, Jennifer Coolidge, Sonia Braga, Cheech Marin, D’Arcy Carden, Selena Tan, Desmin Borges, and Alex Mallari Jr.
“The film centers on Darcy and Tom as they gather their lovable but very opinionated families for the ultimate destination wedding just as the couple begins to get cold feet,” reads the synopsis. “If that wasn’t enough of a threat to the celebration, suddenly everyone’s lives are in danger when the entire party is taken hostage, and ‘Til Death Do Us Part’ takes on a whole new meaning as Darcy and Tom must save their loved ones — if they don’t kill each other first.
