Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, traveled to Wales to meet with different communities across the nation and learn about the work of key charitable organizations.
William and Kate have a"deep affection for Wales," according to Kensington Palace. The couple made their first family home in Anglesey, where they spent their first months as parents, making Wales the first home of Prince George. William graduated from the Search and Rescue Training Unit at RAF Valley in Anglesey when he was training to become a helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force's Search and Rescue Force.
