Today, while waiting for the light to turn green on the overpass at Park Lane and North Central Expressway, we waited to make sure no cross-directional cars were running the red light, which has become standard procedure these days in Dallas. Much to our surprise, as our light was fully green, not one car, not two cars, but three cars, over the course of seven seconds, blatantly ran the red light. The third car was going at speeds above 50 mph.

Conservation efforts must also be prioritized to protect our ecosystems, which help regulate the Earth’s climate. Additionally, education and awareness play a vital role in fostering eco-conscious behaviors and driving meaningful change. Texans for the Right to Read opposes the current movement to ban books from Texas libraries based on content subjectively deemed inappropriate. Its purpose is to educate the public and oppose any current or future legislation, regulations or executive orders that infringe upon First Amendment rights and intellectual freedom.
