A reader believes some in Saskatoon are worrying needlessly about the issues connected with building a new arena in downtown Saskatoon.

The downtown area was crime ridden, dingy and dying; building an entertainment complex there has revitalized the entire area. People go to the downtown area before their event to have dinner and drinks and perhaps shop and stay after to celebrate and have drinks and snacks before they go home. Many businesses and restaurants have sprung up due to the activity surrounding the arena, A perk of building a modern arena has been that Sacramento gets the best entertainment as they are now on the list of the best venues to play in and attract the hottest performers.
