LA Metro CEO Stephanie Wiggins announced the agency will begin operations on the main portion of the K Line, also known as the Crenshaw Line subway/light rail, on Friday, Oct. 7.
The long-awaited K Line rail system that would serve South LA, Crenshaw, Inglewood and Westchester will be opening to the public on Friday, Oct. 7, LA Metro CEO Stephanie Wiggins announced on Thursday, Sept. 22.
After long delays, the 8.5-mile rail line, also known as the Crenshaw/Inglewood/LAX subway/light-rail line will open with service at the following seven stations:, Martin Luther King Jr., Leimert Park, Hyde Park, Fairview Heights, Downtown Inglewood and Westchester/Veterans.
