Fiesta's Taste of the Republic moves to the Alamo
Taste of the RepublicThe 11-day celebration of all things San Antonio kicks of with the sixth annual Taste of the Republic from 6 to 10 p.m. April 20. And the venue couldn't be better for the showcase of local culinary talent and food traditions. Taste of the Republic has bounced around multiple locations since its inception, but this year it's planting roots on sacred grounds: the Alamo.
During the event, a dozen chefs will highlight food from six culinary regions across the state. Wine pairings will be available at all of the chefs' stations. Beer, wine and cocktails are included in the $125 ticket price, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Fiesta Commission and the Remember the Alamo Foundation.Taste of the Republic
