XOKitty reaches 2nd place on Netflix's Global Top 10 TV
I was kinda worried whether this would be yet another agenda-driven woke show. While there are scenes here and there that do push some sort of narrative, I'm happy to say that it was thankfully focused on comedy and romance for the most part. I'd rate the show 6 or at best 7 out of 10. There were some plot points that were just cringe-worthy, stupid and straight-up makes you roll your eyes. Min Ho was definitely the best character for me.
I'm not one to dwell on wing politics. And, scream either"woke!!!" or"representation!!!" while watching a show. I just want a good story-line and plot. There's a difference between"a love story between two gay characters", and"a love story between two characters that happen to be gay". The latter instance is always much better as it focuses on the characters and plot more than representation or pushing an agenda.
