The man was still conscious when firefighters got to the scene and started working to free him.
A cinder block wall fell onto two workers, killing one and injuring the other at a construction site in Pacoima, the Los Angeles Fire Department said on Wednesday, June 7.
The collapse occurred in the 10500 block of Glenoaks Boulevard. Fire officials have not said why they believe the wall suddenly fell.
