A 46-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly stabbed a woman multiple times on the city’s North Side Saturday night.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Anchor Drive, not far from Lockhill Selma Road and West Avenue.
According to police, the man and a 53-year-old woman were having an argument when he used “a cutting instrument” to stab her multiple times. The woman was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, where she is expected to recover. Police said the man was detained at the scene by officers.
