Houston police investigate the fatal stabbing of a woman at an apartment complex in northwest Houston on March 23, 2022.A woman was fatally stabbed late Wednesday night at a northwest Houston apartment complex, according to authorities.
Houston Firefighters responded first to reports of a cutting around 11:10 p.m. at the 7000 block of Woodsman Trail and found a 32-year-old woman with multiple knife wounds to her body, Houston police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Witnesses told investigators the woman was apparently having an argument about another man with her husband when he allegedly stabbed her before fleeing, Houston police added. While HFD was attending to the woman, the husband came back to the complex but fled again before he was detained in a traffic stop about a mile away.The couple's 13-year-old daughter and another couple who lived in the apartment witnessed the incident but were not injured, according to police.Joel.Umanzor@chron.
