Agiye Hall, who was suspended Friday,?transferred to Texas after playing his freshman season at Alabama.AUSTIN — Lined up near the left sideline, Texas wideout Agiye Hall pumped his legs and feinted toward the cornerback’s outside shoulder before darting down the sideline, the defender now riding his right hip.
Still, it was a big moment for Hall, the Alabama transfer who’s had twice as many team suspensions as receptions since the calendar flipped to 2022. He was charged with a Class B misdemeanor after damaging a parking boot while removing it from his vehicle, according to a Travis County Sheriff’s Office booking report. That led to an indefinite team suspension with the start of the Longhorns’ season around the corner.Hall appeared briefly against his former team in Texas’ Week 2 loss to Alabama but did not record a target.
He added: “I think naturally, when you’re not around the program for some time it takes a minute to kind of get your football legs back under you, your football mind back under you. So it’s been a bit of a gradual progression to work him back in.”
