The average price for a gallon of gas today in the Harrisburg area is steady at $4.46 a gallon.

“If this trend holds, it may remove some of the extreme upward price pressure consumers have found at the pump, but not all,” AAA reported. The lowest price in the area is $3.53 a gallon at Pilot on Linglestown Road. That price is for cash only. The credit price is $4.45 a gallon.
