The Snowman is set in a winter wonderland of snowy mountains. In order to achieve the snow-covered setting, here's where filmmakers shot it.
The Snowman contrasted its dark murder mystery story with a beautiful snow-covered backdrop. The film stars Michael Fassbender as its main character Harry Hole with Rebecca Ferguson beside him as Katrine Bratt, as they work together to solve a serial killer case where the murderer leaves snowmen behind after he kills. The film was based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Jo Nesbø.
The apartment appears again when Rakel stops by, revealing she still has a key to get in and informs Harry that Oleg ran away again, suggesting it's happened before. Rakel tells Harry that she and Oleg are moving to Telemark to get away from the city. However, she soon reveals she misses Harry, and the two kiss, revealing they both still have feelings for each other, which was obvious from the start.
4 Rakel & Oleg Live At Damstredet 1, Oslo Harry drops Rakel off at her house located at Damstredet 1. The exterior of the home appears light pink, while the interior walls, seen through the windows as Harry walks away, are green. The film showcases the interior of the home from an inside point of view in the scene when Rakel learns Oleg is missing, and she frantically tells Mathias over the phone, getting frustrated with him because he's at a conference where he isn't of much help.
