The trailer for season two of The Bear just dropped, so we're craving this Chicago specialty.
debuted last summer, the show got lots of praise for its accurate portrayal of what it's like to work in the back of the house at a restaurant, from dealing with chef egos to the chaos of service to the lingo .
If you haven't seen it yet, the show follows Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a chef who experienced a quick rise to fame in the fine-dining world before going back home to Chicago to take over the family business, the Original Beef of Chicagoland, following the death of his older brother.
The challenges of opening a restaurant is exactly what I hoped this new season would follow, so I'm hungry for the show to start. But I'm also once again hungry for an Italian beef. While the fictional restaurant may be turning into a"destination spot," says Sydney, who's played by Ayo Edebiri, we still got one beef shot at the end of the trailer. This is a Chicago show through and through, so there's no way it'll be beef-free.
