My kids aren’t excited about going to college. My oldest didn’t go after he graduated high school last year, and I’m not sure my daughter will go. They don’t like school, and what they want to be when they grow up doesn’t require a college degree.
I also believe we have to give them second chances and opportunities to earn their trust back and make different decisions.Teenagers live in their rooms. I get asked all the time if my kids spend a lot of time in their rooms. Yes, they do. It’s where they want to be and instead of trying to get them to come out and spend time with me, I let them be.
