We're starting the week with a break from the dangerous heat across North Texas.
A summertime cold front is providing North Texas a break from record-breaking temperatures. Expect high temperatures on Monday near seasonable levels into the mid-90s. Also, overnight lows will fall into the mid to upper-60s in surrounding areas with the 70s in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This break from the dangerous heat will last into Thursday.
Temperatures will heat up into the triple digits as we start the Labor Day Holiday weekend. By Labor Day, highs will once again cross into record-breaking territory.
