The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon star Norman Reedus has hinted at how Daryl arrives in France during his upcoming spinoff series. Taking place after The Walking Dead, Daryl's self-titled spinoff shows him washing up in France, unsure how he got there or what he can do to get back home. Daryl was last seen in The Walking Dead series finale, when he rode off on his motorcycle in search of Rick Grimes and Michonne.
