Video: Motorhome falls into river after rain-soaked embankment crumbles at SoCal RV park.
A motorhome tumbled into the Santa Clara River north of Los Angeles Saturday when rain-soaked ground crumbled at a RV park.
The motorhome was one of three that were swept away by the river Saturday at the Valencia Travel Village RV park. Steady overnight rains eroded the embankment between the parking area and river. Rescue crews were sent out to try and get the trailers out of the rushing water. According to LA County Fire officials, no one was hurt.Get Southern California news, weather forecasts and entertainment stories to your inbox.
