The displays are meant to demonstrate ahead of the July 4th holiday the dangers of these explosives if not used safely. CPSC Chair Alex Hoehn-Saric will also release the latest statistics on fireworks-related deaths and injuries, and Dr. Sarah Combs will talk about the dangers of fireworks to children.will return this year at multiple locations around the city to celebrate our nation’s independence.Downtown JacksonvilleFireworks can be viewed from the North and South banks along the St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville, and from surrounding areas at the additional launch locations.
