JACKSONVILLE , Fla. — On March 12, the Florida division of Waste Pro is hosting a one-day hiring event for drivers, driver trainees, mechanics and technicians.
Waste Pro will conduct interviews between 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. offering great hourly rates and retention bonuses for many positions. Driver seeking positions must have a CDL in addition to their motor vehicle record, DOT medical card, and driver’s license. There will be road test interviews conducted on site.
Drivers and helpers are eligible for safety awards up to $10,000, with qualified drivers able to earn $10,000 and helpers, $5,000. Waste Pro says, “Diesel Technicians/Mechanics receive support in ASE certifications through fee reimbursement and receive a monthly tool allowance.”
