. The married couple started their business in 2019, teaching novices how to make the doughy parcels filled with meats and vegetables.Their signature dumplings form the original Pride rainbow — red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet — meant to represent the LGBTQ+ community.
The dough colors are created from natural dyes. But the rainbow idea originated from a place so many LGBTQ+ people know all too well: rejection. "People used to contact us and say, 'Could you teach us to make dumplings but just use the white color?’ No, go find somebody else. This is part of the brand."
