A veteran James Gunn actor is game to star as the iconic Batman villain, Poison Ivy, in the filmmaker's new DC Universe that is in the works.
One of James Gunn's veteran actors expresses interest in joining the new DC Universe as the Batman foe, Poison Ivy. As the DCEU comes to an end, the DC brand is going in a new direction for live-action. With Gunn wrapping up his time with Marvel Studios, the filmmaker is going full-time with Warner Bros. as part of DC Studios.
I always thought that Poison Ivy was really fun. So maybe something like that would be cool. Honestly, if James asked me to play an alien that sits in the background of a shot and doesn’t talk, I would say yes [laughs]. Because working with him has been one of the great joys of my career so far.
