To get a free subscription to Netflix, you’ll need to purchase one of the “qualifying” annual subscriptions. Verizon says you can redeem the offer even if you’re an existing Netflix subscriber but that “existing customers of the qualifying services” aren’t eligible. You also can’t take advantage of the deal if you subscribed to Netflix using a special promotion or if you already signed up to Netflix through Plus Play.
Once the 12-month period’s over, you’ll have to pay for the $19.99 per month Netflix subscription or downgrade to one of the service’s cheaper options, like its $9.99 per month basic plan or the new, Verizon spokesperson Caroline Brooks says the offer’s open to a “select” number of customers and will remain available until they’re claimed.
