Seventh-year standout Frank Harris should continue to rewrite the Roadrunners' record book as UTSA's starting quarterback in 2023.
As he prepares to enter his seventh season on UTSA’s campus, quarterback Frank Harris has perhaps accomplished more than any other player in program history.
The early stages of Harris’ career were hampered by injuries, as his first two years on campus were nixed by ACL tears before shoulder surgery limited him to four games in 2019. A knee sprain also hindered him for stretches of 2020, and coach Jeff Traylor said Harris played injured during UTSA’s 18-12 loss to Troy in last year’s Cure Bowl.
Marburger, considered UTSA’s primary backup last season, was a standout in the Roadrunners’ spring game, producing touchdowns on all three possessions at the helm to mark the only times the offense reached the end zone.
