The No. 25 Roadrunners claimed a second straight Conference USA championship with a 48-27 win against North Texas in the league title game Friday in the Alamodome. The win set up a matchup with No. 24 Troy in the Cure Bowl at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Fla. The game is the only matchup on the bowl schedule pitting two conference champions.
