Former Uncharted director Amy Hennig's new Marvel game is reportedly a WW2 adventure starring CaptainAmerica and BlackPanther, and it looks set to be revealed officially today!
Amy Hennig's new Marvel game stars Captain America and Black Panther in a World War 2 adventure, according to new leaks. These rumors come ahead of Skydance New Media's confirmed appearance at today's Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, which is running in tandem with Disney's D23 Expo.
Skydance New Media announced that it was working on a Marvel title last October, promising a narrative-driven action-adventure in keeping with much of Hennig's past work. It had been speculated that Skydance's Marvel game would be about the Fantastic Four, as the studio previously called the title a "pulp-adventure", which would be in keeping with the adventures of Marvel's First Family.
Captain America & Black Panther Game Could Show The Duo's First Meeting Captain America and Black Panther have a long history of team-ups as both are members of the Avengers, with the latter coming to Square Enix title Marvel's Avengers via its War for Wakanda expansion. However, long before Steve Rogers met T'Challa, he encountered his father T'Chaka during the Second World War.
Fans won't have to wait long to find out more concrete information surrounding Skydance New Media's Marvel title, as the Disney & Marvel Games Showcase is due to take place later today. The showcase looks like a must-watch event for Marvel fans, and promises updates on several of Marvel's upcoming games - which may include Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Marvel's Wolverine - as well as announcements of new titles.
