Long Beach State will open at Oregon State on Thursday at 7 p.m., while Cal Baptist hosts San Diego on Thursday at 6 p.m. UCI, which is making its first appearance in the WNIT, finished second to Hawaii in the Big West Conference during the regular season then lost to the Rainbow Wahine in the championship game of the conference tournament, 59-48.
LBSU is making its fifth appearance in the WNIT but its first since 2016, when it lost a first-round game at Oregon.
