UC San Diego will hold free public forum Tuesday to discuss if US is headed for a civil war [Breaking]
She will examine “the dramatic rise in violent extremism around the globe – in Iraq, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Philippines, India, Syria – and reveals how many of the risk factors for civil war are emerging here in the United States,” UCSD says in a statement.
“The country has undergone a seismic cultural, economic and demographic change. Americans are increasingly distrustful of their government and each other and misinformation is spreading widely, largely because of social media.”The talk will be moderated by Thad Kousser, chair of the political science department at UCSD.School of Global Policy and Strategy complex. Parking is available at the Pangea lot at the intersection of Pangea Drive and North Torrey Pines Road.
