The meeting between Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and her Chinese counterpart Wang Wentao marks the first cabinet-level U.S-China exchange in months.

The U.S. Commerce Department said Secretary Raimondo "raised concerns about the recent spate" of actions taken against U.S. companies operating in China.
