Two sex offenders jailed; El Cajon police seek to ID potential underage victims [Breaking]
Two registered sex offenders have been jailed, and El Cajon police are seeking to identify underage girls with whom the two men are suspected of having sexual contact, department officials said Monday.
According to police, the older man brought a young girl to Cantrell’s motel room in El Cajon. Cantrell reportedly questioned her age, but she said she was an adult — a claim Cantrell admitted he doubted. The two men engaged in sex acts with the girl.Cantrell reportedly confessed to a homeless services provider, and that person called police.
Based on what the men told detectives, and what officers saw on the video, police believe the girl is a minor, Lt. Jeremiah Larson said.
