Two men were shot while skating at a park on the North Side, and San Antonio police said they’re still working to track down the suspects responsible.
The shooting happened around 7:51 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of Fresno Street, near Santa Paula Avenue and Neer Avenue.
Police said both of the men, ages 19 and 20, went to a house on Fresno Street for help after the shooting.The two men told officers they were shot at a park where they were skating. Police went to three parks nearby but were unable to locate a crime scene. The two men were taken by EMS to an area hospital for treatment, and their injuries are life-threatening.
Police are still working to track down the suspects. This is a developing story and we’ll bring more updates as they become available.
