Two arrested in Mira Mesa shooting that left teen dead [Breaking]
A man and a teen were arrested Wednesday in the death of an 18-year-old man who was found fatally shot in front of his Mira Mesa home in October, San Diego police said Thursday.
Officers found Brian Mendoza-Camacho with at least one gunshot wound on Deering Street near Westmore Road about 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 5, police said. While investigating the death, detectives identified two suspects: 21-year-old Nicholas Forehand and a 17-year-old boy.On Wednesday, Forehand was arrested near Mission Gorge Road and Friars Road about 11 a.m., police said. About 40 minutes later, the teen was arrested on Poway Road near Civic Center Drive. Both were jailed on suspicion of murder.
Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the department’s homicide unit at 531-2293 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 580-8477.
