The Chancery Court, a nonjury trial court, calls itself the nation’s preeminent forum for legal cases involving the internal affairs of Delaware corporations and other business entities that conduct “a vast amount of the world’s commercial affairs.” Delaware’s General Corporation Law is considered the most advanced and flexible in the country, according to the Delaware Division of Corporations.
