HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Rapper Tupac Shakur will be posthumously honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced.
Shakur will receive his star in the category of Recording, becoming the 2,758th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A ceremonial event will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, with Tupac’s sister, Sekyiwa Shakur, accepting the star on her late brother’s behalf.
