Tribal leaders, and members, from 10 Alaska Native communities are in a three-day conference with multiple federal agencies to help them prepare for, respond to and recover from the impacts of climate change.

The 78th United Nations General Assembly is being held in New York City this week. Among the laundry list of crises being discussed-- Russia's raging war in Ukraine, political instability in several African Nations, and a series of climate disasters.
