Delaware Democratic state Sen. Sarah McBride garnered $414,000 in campaign donations after launching a run for Delaware's House seat on June 25 & before the end of the quarter on June 30. McBride is a biological man who identifies as a transgender woman.

McBride has been a state senator since 2020, raising $1,800 during that campaign and $1,375 in 2022, according to Open Secrets. Previous donors included JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte, and the Human Rights Campaign, the country's largest LGBT civil rights advocacy group, where McBride served as a spokesperson.So far, McBride faces one other Democratic candidate in the race that is expected to lean Democratic, Alexander Geise. The two will face off for the seat of Rep.
