The recall concerns Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with sell-by dates in October.
Trader Joe’s recalled two kinds of its signature almond cookies last week over concerns that they may contain rocks.
The recalled treats are the Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with sell-by dates between Oct. 19 to 21 and Oct. 17 to 21, respectively, the grocery chainAll of the products potentially impacted by the risk have been removed from shelves and destroyed, the statement read.
Customers who purchased or received any boxes of the cookies are also urged to discard or return them to a Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
