We chat with ThePower stars Toni Collette and JohnLeguizamo about the ever-changing relationship dynamic between their characters in their new PrimeVideo series and how they can bicker like a married couple offscreen too:
This month, Amazon Prime will debut The Power, a new series based on the award-winning Naomi Alderman novel of the same name. The show follows the stories of several women across the world as the new phenomenon of the skeins organ takes hold. Evolved for survival and present only in women, the skein allows them to produce powerful electricity, putting the power balance of the world in flux.
Screen Rant spoke with Toni Collette and John Leguizamo about what it was like working with one another and developing such a complicated relationship dynamic in The Power. John Leguizamo: It was a blast, it was a pleasure. I was looking forward working with Toni everyday because of those same qualities. She comes in there, she's brave as heck, she's not afraid of anything. And she'll go dark, light, edgy, sweet, funny, all the spectrum of emotions so that you can be free too, so it makes your acting better.John Leguizamo: Yeah, great material to begin with as well.
