The seven-time Super Bowl champ’s candid reflection on his mental health struggles comes amid ongoing marital drama with Bündchen.
“And you learn to grow up and you learn to deal with life. And that’s what we’re all trying to do. We’re trying to do it the best way we can.”
When asked how he takes care of his mental health, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback said that “everyone has different situations” going on that can cause stress. “I think you realize that there’s a lot, especially in today’s day and age, with how fast things are happening in life for all of us, and the amount of responsibilities we have.”
Brady added that he often holds himself to a “certain standard that we’re almost inhuman,” noting that he’s also “immune” to a lot of the “things that life brings” over time. Tom Brady admitted there’s “things” that he’s “going through” amid his marital woes with wife Gisele Bündchen.“You wake up every day trying to do the best you can do, understanding that life has its stresses,” he explained.
