Hassan Haskins is set for another court date on July 10.
, citing a police report, Haskins, a second-year running back, and his girlfriend, Makiah Green, allegedly got into a disagreement on June 22 after Haskins saw that Green had “liked” another man’s Instagram photo.Haskins allegedly asked Green to stop, and when she didn’t, he pushed her to the ground, tossed her on the bed, and used both hands to strangle her.
The fight continued as the two slapped each other, the police report said, according to multiple outlets. Haskins allegedly broke down the bedroom door, and when an argument ensued, Green ripped a chain worth $5,000 off his neck.
