Tire breaks off of pickup truck, hits car on I-75 in Kentucky, killing teen girl
BURLINGTON, Kentucky — An 18-year-old woman was killed Sunday when a tire that had broken off a truck struck her vehicle, authorities say.
The sheriff’s office says it’s believed a tired from a dually pickup truck traveling north on I-75 broke off. The tire bounced over a concrete median and hit Collins’ vehicle. The sheriff’s office says it has not found the vehicle that lost the tire. The crash remains under investigation.
