The two comedians and actresses are bringing their tour to the Highland casino on Nov. 8.
Comedians and actresses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are coming to Yaamava’ Resort & Casino in Highland on Wednesday, Nov. 8 as part of their Restless Legs Tour.. The event at the casino which promises to “celebrate their 30 years of friendship with an evening of jokes, iconic stories and conversational entertainment,” is the only date in California that has been announced.
Fey and Poehler met in the Chicago improv scene in the ’90s and were part of the city’s comedy troupe, The Second City. Fey later worked as a writer at “Saturday Night Live” under director, producer and screenwriter Adam McKay. After McKay’s departure, she replaced him as head writer becoming the show’s first female head writer in the show’s history.
