Though Valentina shares many similarities with the MCU's Nick Fury, her next appearance in Thunderbolts could showcase one significant difference. The official first look at the MCU's Thunderbolts was revealed at 2022's D23 Expo, unveiling the rag-tag group of reformed villains and antiheroes who will come together at the end of Phase 5.
The Thunderbolts team is composed primarily of super-soldiers from prior MCU projects, including Bucky, a.k.a. the Winter Soldier, Red Guardian, and John Walker, a.k.a.
