Earlier, on Feb. 22, officers were called to reports of a stabbing outside a building in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive around 9:40 p.m. Police arrested a 19-year-old man in a parking lot and found a knife nearby. The victim, a 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound, police said and was transported to hospital. The 19-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault.Article content
Around 10 p.m. the same night, police were called to a suite in the 500 block of Avenue X South where they found a 49-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries. Another man at the residence was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, police said.
