NYPD releases video of brutal beatdown that killed NYC cabbie Kutin Gyimah
Two men and a teenage girl turned themselves into police and were charged Thursday in connection with the as new video emerged of the deadly attack, police said.
Porter was charged with gang assault and theft of service while Amos was hit with theft of service, assault, gang assault and manslaughter raps for allegedly delivering the final blow that killed Gyimah, a 52-year-old father of four. Later Thursday, a 15-year-old girl sought in connection to the deadly attack also turned herself in. She was charged with gang assault and theft of services. Two other suspects, believed also to be teenage girls, are still wanted in connection with the incident, police said.
Barwuah added that she was “happy” that two of the five suspects accused of beating her husband to death have been arrested – and she had a message for the three that were still on the loose.The family of Kutin Gyimah attend a press conference regarding his death.“I’m telling them to turn themselves in because they’re gonna be caught,” she said. “Wherever they are even if they are not caught by man, God is going to bring them in.
