Among cities with populations greater than 300,000, Arlington ranked 13th safest. The only large Texas cities considered safer were El Paso and Austin . To rank the cities, MoneyGeek evaluated FBI data on both violent crimes such as murder, rape and aggravated assault, and on property crimes such as burglaries and car theft.
